Anita was introduced to present the training module "Evaluate to Motivate." Many of her accolades were also mentioned, including, Past President, Sergeant at Arms, competent communicator and competent leadership awards.

Anita mentioned not to be overly positive or overly negative. Create a balance.

Table Topics Master

David Gay

David continued the training module by creating questions that were to be considered as an evaluator, not as a speaker. He first asked the entire meeting to think of a book, art, movie, etc., then called on contestants.

Patricia was the first contestant, who demonstrated a totally positive evaluation about Legos.

Christina was the second contestant, who demonstrated a totally negative evaluation about the movie, the Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

General Evaluator

Rosie Ruiz, who gave a wonderful evaluation of the meeting and assisted with the meeting synopsis.

Evaluator

Bob, who gave a wonderful, well balanced, and truthful evaluation about Anita's speech.

Club Business

Finally, the members voted in Patricia Peters to be the Vice President of Membership for the remainder of the term, because Kori Salas chose to step down.

Announcements

Pot Luck party is October 10 at Sarah's house.

Speech/Evaluation contest is October 9. Pot luck starts at 6:30 and contest starts at 7:00.
